Fighting Chair. Early 19th century.

“Rooster Fighting Chair”. Our English armchair around 1810, very original, allowed punters to follow the cockfighting by taking notes on the tablet fixed to the back thanks to a compartmented pen tray housed in the right arm of the armchair.

The seat and arms of this beautiful armchair are covered in patinated tobacco-colored leather. We sat on the back of the chair.
