About Us

Welcome to Edith Davidson Antiques.

A long established family business situated in the world famous Biron Market in “Marché aux Puces” Paris, France.

Our reputation is built on three rock-solid principles: knowledge, trust and discretion.

It was in 1990 that I opened my first shop at the Biron Market after training at the Louvre school and l’IESA (art school).

It was also at the Biron Market that I met my Scottish husband Eric Davidson, an antique dealer of four decades;a man familiar with the Paris Saint-Ouen Market.

Since then, we have been hunting together in France, Scotland and Europe for objects, paintings and furniture from the XVIII to the XX century.

Interior designers and customers from all over the world visit us and buy from us on a regular basis either online but also at our shop situated in the Biron Marketto see our new discoveries.

The Biron Market started in 1925 with other markets at Paris Saint-Ouen, and today, almost a century later,2500 antique dealers offer decorative objects, paintings and furniture from the XVIII, XIX and XX centuries, as Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Design.

Today,The Biron Market is the Faubourg Saint-Honoré of Paris Saint-Ouen.
