Pair of white marble vestals draped in antique style. They hold a vase from which comes out a flame in gilded bronze. They wear Roman or cothurnal sandals on their feet. Wavy hair and pulled back. The base is encased in a pretty gilt bronze frame with heart-shaped spokes.
Probably by a Flemish sculptor or more to the north. End of 18th century. In very good general condition, except for an old restoration with a head which has been reattached.
