“Wheat Field. Christine Cloos.”
Christine Cloos was born in 1959 in Boulogne-sur-Seine, teenager she was planting her easel in the fields of Beauce during stays in the family home, after a city period she moved to Giverny in 1991. The surrounding nature is a source inspiration that drives it for 12 years in the meanders of the iron wall sculpture, sheet metal cut, welded, material changing under the influence of heat, fluid or frozen. Then the painting comes back by incorporating collages, natural fibers, a permanent exploration of the smallest twig with the powerful forms of the ancient trees of the forests and Monet’s garden.
