Harvest festival by Armand Leleux painter born in Paris in 1818 died in Switzerland in 1883.

Oil on his original canvas, signed lower left.

Armand Leleux was a pupil of Ingres whom he accompanied in Italy in 1835, then traveled to Spain and Germany.

He exhibited for the first time in 1839. Influenced by his friend Corot, he liked to paint country scenes, this table is a perfect example.
