Pair of Louis XVI style incense burners, Gouthière model

Very beautiful pair of perfume burner in the shape of an Athenian, in Turquin blue marble and chased and gilded bronze.
The basin is decorated with musicians in gilded bronze, it rests on a tripod base furnished with chimeras in gilded bronze.

An original Louis XVI Model by Gouthière is exhibited at the Louvre Museum.
