Alexandre-Jacques Chantron 1889 was born in Nantes on January 28, 1842 and died on January 3, 1918 in Nantes. I

He was a pupil of François-Edouard Picot then of William Bouguereau, he received several medals at the Salon des Artistes de Paris.
